You are not sure who was overcome with a sudden inspiration to scoop together enough of shed scales and somehow arrange them together into coif. The seams between the individual scales show trace amounts of gold - how they got there, you have no idea. It feels surprisingly comfy. There is a gap in the scalework just at the jaw, where the two halves are connected through careful needlework of loose lace. It is of superb quality, and it is in perfect condition.
